at St. Francis?
Why be an altar server?
Altar serving is a convenient.
Servers typically are only scheduled to serve 2-3 times in a four month
period and scheduled to serve at the Mass they typically attend.
Altar Serving is a great way to give back!
Altar serving is an excellent way to give your time and talent back to Saint
Francis and play a very important role in the Mass. From the processional
hymn to the recessional, altar servers help the Presider and the
congregation at large celebrate the Mass.
Who can be an altar server?
That’s easy. Altar serving is open to all members of Saint Francis who
are in the fifth grade or higher.
How do you become an altar server?
That's simple too. First, email or call Mike Zimmers at
rmzimmers@nc.rr.com or 919-795-7845 and let him know you’re
interested.
